RACE FOR THE CURE

Though I use a cane and have to soon have my artificial knee replaced due to its wearing out in only 11 years, I have a lot of respect for those nearly 50,000 people who did the actual 5K race in the Twin Cities (one of the largest in the USA). Kind of wish I could do it, but maybe later.
I prayed that they would have a nice day and it turned out!! Kind of cool but no rain or snow here. Dau-in-law, Kate and grandau, Lucy did it while son Chris coralled the two boys, Tom and Ned. It was Mothers' Day and our dau, Margie and husb, Tom and two grand girls, Elizabeth and Claire came up and took Mom (Virginia) and husb (Byron) to MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM at the wonderful new Guthrie Theater. What a deal!!!!!!!!! It was fun and showed how good we have it for culture here.
Flowers, book, plants and the now famous Hallmark card that played out the "Chicken Dance" music. Everyone was trying it and laughing like a bunch of goofs. So good. Life is grand>
